Due to the size and architecture of this old motel, we decided to go for a minimalist aesthetic that focuses on expanding the space that’s already there. A touch of modern and vintage completes the feel of each room, bearing tiled glass showers and retro paint jobs. Not to toot our own horn, but we think we’ve done a great job making the rooms feel spacious.

The Little Canyon Inn is a vintage roadside motel, built well over a hundred years ago. We retained as much of the roadside charm as possible while adding features like soundproof foaming, deafening curtains, and private back patios. Even some of our updated outbuildings have been restored with old timbers to maintain that vintage Colorado feel.

Little Canyon Inn is a one-of-a-kind property set on 23 acres of prairie. Each room has its own patio and breathtaking views of the mountains, and our winding property trail takes you just far enough out to make you really feel connected to the Earth. The motel is owned and operated by Kara and Adam Arnold (not pictured here, we’re not that photogenic). They run the motel and live on-sight, while simultaneously raising four boys. They designed the Little Canyon Inn to combine a comforting indoor atmosphere with an expansive outdoor sitting space complete with a personal fire pit.
